The ETDP SETA (Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority) was established in March 2000 to promote and facilitate the delivery of education, training and development in order to enhance the skills profile of the ETD (Education, Training and Development) sector and contribute to the creation of employment opportunities especially for those previously disadvantaged.

 

In-Line with ASGISA, skills development to uplift all South Africans from all facets of the economy in order to allow for greater participation within the economy has been introduced with the relevant training and skills development needed within the lecturing fraternity was implemented to grow the resource base for business in South Africa.
